If they are in any way influenced by reactions on internet messageboards (and I still have my doubts on that one) an approval rating that fluctuates between 87-93% against would be pretty hard to ignore.

They will obviously receive compensation before he joins any club.

Sky sources confirm villa have approach  blues over mcleish and told blues want £5m .

That'll be those same sources who got the last 3 or 4 dead-certs for the job wrong then.

Well the compensation claim is a lot easier for them if he is still their manager.  If he resigns and joins another club a couple of days / weeks later then it is not so easy so of course they will reject his resignation

How many times do Sky Sources have to be shown to be complete fabrication before the penny drops with you?

Sky said the source came from Aston villa, they reckon he has a £5m clause in his contract and blues are refusing to release him until compensation settled.

I understand the thinking behind not officially denying every link, but surely we could make an exception for McLeish? Can't the club see this is torture for Villa fans?

I will be a lot more relaxed about the new manager situation once we know it isn't going to be that clown.

They are talking cobblers though, that's the problem. Oy vey.
