Some Villa fan on Talkshite just called us fickle, and is talking up McLeish. Can I be the first to say you are a fucking twat.

If there's one thing I fucking hate Dolly for, it is lumbering us with this label. It gets trotted out again and again, as if Villa fans are an anomoly, as if every other fanbase in the country is patient and down to earth, while we are ingrates and impatient. Wankers use it to describe us and Villa fans who use it to cane their fellow fans with are utter ******.

So, two weeks ago, all the talk of Ancelotti and Benitez and co.

Now, we're looking at McLeish, having been turned down by Wigan's manager?

That's a bit like trying to shag Megan Fox but ending up in bed with Sonia from Eastenders.

Sonia would work harder for it!!!! Filthy!

I'm just glad Ian Holloway hasn't been mentioned anywhere.

If I can remember how that Alan Partridge sketch went when he was trapped in his stalkers house - "I'm going to level with you all now-I'm a little bit scared".

Every holes a goal...except Mcleish.  Surely not?

Mcleish to chelsea, hiddink to us. It's the only explanation.

Realistically, we're getting linked with just about every bloody manager going by Talksport, Sky et al because they have no idea what's going on here.

I just hope that him quitting is a horrible coincidence, he just seems like a cut-price MON who doesn't actually win many games. At least MON generally got results whereas Mcleish has managed to get relegated twice.

The general implied its not a case of the fans liking the new man , if randy chooses mcleish for christ sake back him and get behind aston villa- we are in this together and dont want to be percieved as a laughing stock by fans complaining.

remember derby fans protested when mackay followed clough and yet mackay won them the league.

please give alex mcleish a chance!

Absolutely and unequivocally NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mcclaren to forest, davies to blose, mcleish to everton, moyes to villa...............please!
As daft as it sounds I was told that (the last two bits) when Houllier went!

Everton like their Ginger scotts dont they? I could actually see him doing a decent job..................at Everton. Still suprised if we are/have actually spoke to Moyes why Everton would consider McLeish when MON is on the market. For me perfect fit really.

If he's appointed, I shall shout the famous line at McLeish from the same episode.

'No way! You big spastic, you're a mentalist.'

Kendrick goes with the latest favourite. He doesn't know his arse from his elbow. Twat journalist.
