If they are talking about moonwalking it has to be Hughes!

Moonwalking = Michael jackson statue!? That's my theory anyways
Moonwalking = moving backwards whilst giving the impression of moving forward.
Backwards = MON or Oleary. ;D

Not being serious.

I don't understand why so many are reluctant to believe the line that we've offered the job to RM and he's considering, as peddled by the media. Seems the most likely scenario to me though would love the rabbit out of a hat idea of course.

I've got a feeling that our new boss will be announced at the same time as Cashleys departure is confirmed! If we pulled someone like Ancelotti out the hat I would piss my pants laughing all while the media completely overlook cashley leaving!

Because its not what we expect of Aston Villa. Because we expect better.

New twitter account opened claiming to be MM

Seems quite convinced DM is in mix along with Rijkaard,

The internet and truth two words that are hard to fit together.

By the way, what are the financial circumstances of Houllier's departure. Did we have to pay part of his contract? As far as I know, there was no mention of that, which might mean, he still has a role to play at Aston Villa.

Is Houllier's heart up to it? I thought he was leaving football?

no idea  but I cant see RM getting players and Im still not happy with his 24% win ratio...

Kendrick and Abraham both under the impression that Villa are waiting on Martinez to decide if he wants the job. I just can't see it. I can't see him being our number one choice still.

Perhaps because people do not want to accept Martinez as a serious option,  perhaps because of what that now says about the club and our direction / ambition.  Perhaps that people love a good conspiracy theory and none more than those on the internet.

Or perhaps it is a combination of all three

I'd be pretty surprised if Houllier was given a job. It wouldn't make sense to me as it appears he was given the boot, and it has been suggested it wasn't all that amicable. Why wouldn't he have moved straight into a new role?

Additionally, what evidence is there that he has great contacts? Or that he is good at developing youth? Isn't Benitez being credited for turning Liverpool's youth system around, and only now are they producing any decent young players?

And he's quite seriously ill.

Seriously are we turning on Ashley now because he has the audasity to want to play at the highest level? Good damn luck to him I say and I will certainly hold no ill feelings towards him.

Rabbits appearing out of hats and The Villa don't go well together.
Dr. Jo or Graham Turner anyone?

I really cant see a mid table side appointing a new manager keeping a whorefour £15 million signing of an England International like Ash off the back pages.

If we sign any new manager that 'owns' the back pages I shall be very, very surprised.
