Not to piss on anyone's chips, but remember that Martinez is Spanish too.

If he's gone to Madrid to speak to a bloke that lives in Wigan, then he needs to find a new travel agent aswell as football manager.

You do realise Doug will see that as a demand for his return as chairman/manager/honorary father of all the players?

Ha, reminds me of the "Ellis Tours" backpage off H&V many years ago.

Isn't "the owner's plane has been seen landing in city Y" just a global-village update of "player X been seen in local hotel"?

Strange interview just now with Whelan on SSN. He spent most of it talking as if Martinez has more or less gone to Villa and then at the end, when asked for his gut feeling, said he felt he would stay for another year or two. He was extremely complimentary about the way the Villa have conducted themselves over any possible deal, really went overboard about it, which is always nice to hear

Its a bloody shame he didnt then !!!

Villa have not said an absolute dicky bird since GH was released. We have written to chairmen (and I presume it IS prural) for permission, and then he comes out on national telly blabbing his mouth.

I would have thought the Villa are livid about it all, and it wouldn't suprise me if Whelan has used this for his own benefit and tactic. I still think Martinez is down the list, one of those "we would like to inteview to hear his thoughts but we have other people in front of him".

If we don't offer him the job, Whelan will be on telly again saying how loyal and fantastic Martinez is.

If the headlines was true that Hughes conduct with Fulham ruled himself out of the running, I would hope Whelans has done the same.

With his ego, I'm sure he would!

i seem to remember some Iphone app being mentioned that if you held it up to the sky as a plane passed over you, it would tell you which flight it was, where it was going and what height it was flying at.

Aside from any worries about it being used in Abbottabad airspace perhaps there is a way to find out where Randy's jet has landed ?

They're not monster trucks, they're normal sized trucks with monster sized wheels.

My mate is a sports lawyer and he's just seen Randy drinking with a private jet in robot mode matching Randy's markings in a hotel in Amsterdam and a man wearing a Dutch suit.
He said that van Gaal came out of the bogs and the jet transformed into jet mode and flew off with them both inside.

He has no reason to lie.

I thought they were tiny trucks with normal size wheels.

If I remember rightly he took his kids to Euro Disney last time and we ended up with a French manager.
