As MM said though earlier there would be a smoke screen maybe Rafa saying lack of money might be that?

fulham appoint jol and mon realises hes missed the boat , does he ring randy and make a grovelling apology realising villa were as good as it would get for him and eat humble pie , pleading for another chance?

As long as long as Van Gaal is behind Randy, taps him on the shoulder and says "let me handle this" drops his pants, grabs his balls and says to MON " you showed you aint got a pair of these when you walked out on us, now do one".

This is madness, I've just been out for a run and spent the entire time talking myself into the idea of Rafa, only to return and find that it's probably not him after all.

It appears VillaTalk knows who the manager is because the site has gone into meltdown.

I cannot buy the Rafa rejecting us as we had no money. It makes no sense as we have got rid of a lot of high earners. Also I think back to McAllister, Houllier & Phillipe Auclair's comments on the calibre of player we were after.

It's bull. I think Rafa was 2nd choice and we have just agreed with our 1st choice.

No way, due to how desperate Rafa was to manage in the Perm would he turn us down.

SKY SPORTS UNDERSTANDS THAT WE KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOWT ABOUT OWT. SORRY ABOUT THAT BUT ITS YOUR FAULT FOR WATCHING THIS REGURGIATATED POOR QUALITY SHITE ALL DAY EVERYDAY LIKE WE'RE THE FUCKING ORACLE OF DELPHI, WITH CHOICE BIRDS AND THAT.              SKY SPORTS UNDERSTANDS THAT OLIVER HOLT IS A COCKSMOKING MONKEY FELCHING IMBECILE WHO HAS SINISTER RELATIONS WITH HIS DECREPID SKELETAL PUPPET MOTHER.

Rafa turned us down because of lack of money according to Sky.

I don't think they said that.  They said the talks didn't go into "fruition" (whatever that means).  It was all quite vague.

Rafa turned us down because of lack of money according to Sky.

Great.

Except they didn't say that at all. Just watched SSN myself. They said Villa and Rafa held preliminary talks, and Benitez gave them a required transfer budget. No more than that was said.
