Clears the way for McClaren to Villa too.

Stop it!

Seriously though, big few days ahead. Really hope it's Carlo or Rafa now.

The top 4 and Spurs won't be coming for Moyes though, and he knows it.
He's not a big enough name for the top 4 and Spurs will want somebody who plays more attractive football in their delusion that they're some sort of Samba republic of north London.

He's not even my choice, I just have a feeling Randy rates him and Houllier would have recommended him.
I'd rather we hire van Gaal, Ancelotti or Benitez though and left Everton alone to their problems.

Appreciate the rather calming info!

If we take MM's info as reliable, which it usually is, and subtract those who are clearly out of the running no matter how much we don't like it, and look at the favourites for the job, that leaves:

Benitez
Coyle
Martinez
Rijkaard

Benitez please, in spite of the end of his time at Liverpool I don't think we are in the position to turn our noses up at a Champions League, FA Cup, Spanish League winning manager.
