If Martin O'Neill returns to Villa Park, I wont.

We need a poll, which prospective manager would cause the most people to stop actively supporting the Villa.

I hope you're not taking the piss Chris. I dont like saying things like that but our integrity would be shot to bits.

No, I mean it. I've never known a managerial vacancy cause so many people to suggest that certain appointments would stop them going to the match. There have been lots of names that I really don't want but none would get in the way of me watching the Villa.

Been a good, constructive, serious but also humorous debate so far.

Maz is right Chris. Nonsense. No one here stops supporting. Whatever. It does not work that way.

Have another go.

Well thanks Aftab. That brought the tone to its proper place. You would would be kicked out the Farthings you ratbag. :)
Peter I am very  concerned at what's going on at VP and the way they settled out of court after many weeks. I floated the idea  during England's game and no one drenched me! Just worried at the lack of ambition being shown at B6. Some classic stuff from, you by the way, tonight.

Would Coyle be better than Hughes?

There's more chance of me becoming a lottery millionaire than the above happening.

Hard to say. They both have a lot to prove and I'm not totally convinced with either.

A club our size should be looking to bring in an established manager I think. The last rookie manager we hired was Gregory and he knew the club already. I'd rather see us go for Coyle/Martinez after they have gained a bit more experience. They still have lots to learn.

The best managers are pretty bright, the majority of managers are not so bright. You need intelligence to succeeed in management, Owen Coyle is pretty thick you can tell that by listening to him. So first find someone who is intelligent.

Stranger things have happened.  There was that (female) golfer last week who got two (yes TWO), holes in one in a round.  Apparently she had more chance of winning the lottery.
