Although I am not surprised with the poll result, I went for Man U

Not because I like Man U but because of what I think it may follow on to.

If they win, no matter what he says now, I just can't see Fergusun carrying on - think about it.

He wins the league, beating Liverpools record , he wins the Champions League, at Wembley , the scene of the Busby triumph, against what is considered the best footballing side in the world, and possibly ever to win the double, and also go into the elite "won it three times" club, which only has the very best - Paisley, Trapattoni, Lippi (in fact has Trappatoni ?) - anyway, only the very best.

Why on earth wouldn't he go out like that !

There is a vast vast possibility Man U won't even be the most successful club in Manchester next year, never mind the world - why would Fergusun risk going out to the site of Man City lifting the league trophy when he can go out in the blaze of glory.

And, if he does carry on - it has all the hallmarks of a boxer who always thinks he has got one last fight left.

He would be mad - thus, the reason I want them to win, as it could spell the end of Man U as we know it.

When it's pointed out to me that I should support the English team in Europe I ask what is English about Van Der Sar, Raphael, Fabio, Evra, Vidic, Valencia, Nani, Hernandez etc.

I want and expect Barca to win. I don't think Vidic will cope very well with Messi running at him.

It that worse than Manure players blatant cheating and diving for pens, Vidic having to shoot players before he is booked or a penalty awarded  against him, continuous harassing of refs through verbal and sometimes  physical abuse. Fergie's relentless criticising of officials, banning journos for asking reasonable  questions etc etc etc
