He's certainly something special but not unplayable. The trouble of dealing with Messi is that you would free up Iniesta, Xavi, Pepe or any of their other top class players. Barca don't have a great deal of experienced players in their squad outside of the first 11 and it seems that they won't have too many injury worries for the weekend which spells trouble for the Red Filth.

I wouldn't be too fussed if Utd won. Not in a patriotic way,but I watch the Spanish league on T.V and hate the dramatic diving,play acting and card waving that Barca seem to get away with. And i hate Alves,great player but complete wanker,he must be the Spanish league version of Ashley cole.

The only time I cheer for Man U is when they play Rangers. Even then it doesn't feel right.
