There's a caption competition here:

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/west-bromwich-albion-fc/2015/06/09/west-brom-close-to-2m-a-year-sponsorship/

Answers on a postcard.....

"I wonder how the Villa are getting on."
"Oh well at least the Villa lost."
"How did this let get on against the Villa?"
"Who are the Villa playing today?"
etc etc

I would have preferred the Baffin Island Escort Agency "Inuit QuickFucks".

My favourite post ever.

So presumably this means we'll be linked with:

Sean St Ledger
Anderson
Petr Cech

It will be interesting to see what they are paying as they were only giving the Bitters around £1.5m a year.

Mail says £3m for a two year deal which I assume means £1.5m pa. which just seems incredibly small to me.

Yuk.

What do you mean Yuk?
Misspelt yuck.

You can have a beautifully designed shirt but when you put an ugly sponsor on the front it naffs it all up.

I'm hoping one day Coca Cola or Apple cough up some dollar.....even Cadburys would of looked smart.

What was the point of signing up for a two-year deal? New owners could probably have landed us something more lucrative next summer.

It does. Would be strange as well as at the SCG Charlie and Foxy were on about how important increasing commercial is to the club, and mentioned shirt deals etc.

BREAKING NEWS: We are delighted to announce @QuickBooksUK as our main club partner for the next two seasons.

Erm, didn't look great on last year's Baggies shirt.
I first thought it was related to the book finder app thread.

It's probably the mail putting a negative spin on the deal *shock horror*. Were it to be true it would be a smaller deal than Hull City had last season, so either it's bullshit or this Wijeratna bloke is fucking cack at his job.

Or our stock is very low having being mostly shit the last 5 years and finishing 17th a few weeks ago.
