the world's number one accounting software for small businesses

Not aiming very high then?

Isn't Quickbooks for people who are too daft to use spreadsheet functions?

BREAKING NEWS: We are delighted to announce @QuickBooksUK as our main club partner for the next two seasons.

Erm, didn't look great on last year's Baggies shirt.

I actually thought that was a joke.

Hopefully the logo is this and not that awful green version.

It's a white QB in a green circle. They creatie accounting software so not a betting company so it will make some happy on that level. Not that it should matter.

Edit: I'm glad they didn't go with the green logo version but blimey that looks massively busy on the front of the kit.

They probably called us and were like 'our one year deal has finished up the road can we be on your shirts now'

It matters to some people - my son was gutted that he couldn't have the same logo on his shirt as the Villa players for the last couple of years.

I would have preferred the Baffin Island Escort Agency "Inuit QuickFucks".

Previous Bitter's sponsor? - not exactly great provenance, is it?

For the sponsors we will be a major step up from the Tesco bags.

Their previous deal came a cropper when the sponsor realised that no-one connected with that club was familiar with the concept of "books."

It's a good product, I can tell you that. And it's not credit cards, loan sharks or online gamblers so there's not much to moan about ethically.
