I had to pick someone up from the Billesley Manor hotel in Warwickshire earlier today

I saw a man wearing a italian style grey suit with grey hair walk through the entrance as I was in my car

I didn't see his face and I was about 300 metres away but what are the chances of that happening today after this speculation?

Its looking good.

I love these stories. Are you sure it was an Italian suit mind? Not one of those French impersonations?

You can't tell if it italian suit from the distance. It could be Hugh Boss suit (German)

Someone else has just texted me saying he's in Brum.

Me too. He might have just read it on here though.

Woke this morning to a text from my nephew whose wife works at at hotel in Meriden, ( I think it's the Marriott ), she's not a football supporter but said that CA is staying there. I know it doesn't prove anything but it's a bit of a bloody coincidence if not!

Ancelotti would be awesome for the first team squad as his coaching ability is right up there with the best.

I would make it a condition of his contract that he has to set up the structure of the club from top to bottom so that when he leaves there will be a clear legacy that someone else can pick up.

The work he did early in his career at Coverciano suggests that he has a clear strategic way in which he thinks clubs should play football.  That should become "the villa way".

Ancelotti would be a huge improvement.  Young would probably stay.  Keeping my fingers crossed......

the excitement this thread is giving me is unreal. Although it has the "building ourselves up to be knocked down" cliché written all over it!
There could be a lot of"I've seen him in Brum" bulls**t circulating aswell but please be true!!

To the tune of There's no limit by  2unlimited - "Carlo, Carlo Carlo, Carlo Carlo, Carlo Ancelotti" rpt.  :P  ;D  ;)

A bookie could earn a lot of money with one or two well-placed posts on a blog full of its own importance.

Nothing, just casting a world-weary and cynical eye over this evening's proceedings.

The cynical bookies made a good few bob on the dead cert Hughes.
Anyone backing Ancelotti is equally likely to fall at Bechers.
Lerner is not doing anything based on the plaintiffs choices here.
Another week, minimum, of bookies benefits if not more, is likely imo

Mr Woodhall your cynicism leads me to believe that you are more ahead of the game than the rest of us, if so put us all out of our misery right now.
