Delph did'nt have the best game, but i would still play him next game, we need to show how good he can become.Showed glimpses today , needs match fitness.

Downing, i f he had some balls, could be a really good player, but he is such a tart.Probably our best player today, but needs some more aggression.

Walker, good 1st half, poor 2nd.

We could be quite a good team, Bent makes all the difference, add a passer behind him, bring Makoun in, add another and we are not far behind.

Don't want to criticise too much, but for their goal, Collins got underneath the ball again.Should have done better.

Is this the best day's results ever?

This season YES - Wigan's late winner means the knuckledraggers are going to have a horrible week with hopefully an even worse day next Sunday.

Spurs need to win, especially if the Red Scouse are beating us, just tell any nose you see - we are going to throw the game next week to make Spurs play harder!

Ashley Young threw his shirt into the crowd. Hmmm... ManUre beckons

TBH that was a given from about October. Although did any other players do the shirts for the very good away following this season considering the amount of wins they had seen?

Downing was shocking today, gave the ball away ever time and back to his wussiest

He was a tremendous outlet and got us out of trouble loads of times with his bursts down the wing. His final ball was poor and he did give the ball away a bit but he was far from shocking.

I have to say, I think that's harsh. He put in a number of good covering tackles today, and was always working back and covering Walker. In fact, I think he did a better defensive job than attacking one today!

Either way, it all worked out this afternoon!

The main problem with Downing for most of the season is he isn't a right winger. Yes, it means he can come in and have a shot like Young is happy to do but he will not try to cross with his right which we needed today several times. Will argue about the wussiest though as he did a good defensive job.

Great result and held on under alot of pressure.

Bradley actually looked ok aswell.

We as a team need to learn that we can keep the ball when an opponent comes near us, we were quality first 20 mins then invited pressure for the rest of the game.

But  a win feels great and has put me in a good mood for my 6 aside game later.

Amazing result. Bent is just the daddy.

Delph looked a bit out of his depth, lost posession too many times.

NRC battled his balls off.

Didn't think too much of Downing & Young today, but I thought Walker, L.Young were superb.

I see your point hawkeye, Downing is a tart, but he was more of an outlet today than AYoung.

Although i would say that AYoung did a lot of support today for LYoung. We will miss his workrate.

Now we have no pressure I would actually start with Gary Gardner, Delph and Reo with Albrighton on the right and Downing on the left. Young can stay on the bench and come on second half if needed for any plaudits the fans thinks he deserves.

As for the Walker comment. I thought he played quite well throughout although there was obviously a lot more pressure for all the second half.

Young's pass for the goal was sublime.

For me the man of the match was the ref. Thought he had a blinder. Mind you if I were an Arse fan i'd be spitting feathers right about now.

We should have lost that game comfortably but i'll take the win ably assisted by a moogy ref and say well done to the defence. At least I can relax next week and enjoy the Liverpool game without growing any more stomach ulcers.
