I'll admit to not having to worry about the cost and renewal of my season ticket but realise that isn't an option for many.  However many comments have rung a bell with me and my renewal will be partly out of blind loyalty, partly out of the this could be the year it all clicks and partly becasue I just enjoy being with my mates at most of the homes and some aways.

And I enjoy being with you! :)

Not read all through the thread, so apologies if this has already been mentioned.   Went into the shop in town at lunchtime on Tuesday and was told by the very helpful lad there that as well as the four monthly instalment plan without interest, there will also be a 10 monthly instalment plan but with a little interest.  I'm trusting that this is true.

Hopefully that will help out a few people and enable them to renew if they were thinking they couldn't.   For myself, I will be relocating from A3 in the Trinity to A2.  Have found that if I move 8 rows back from where I currently am, then for this season I would have paid £55 less for essentially the same view.  No brainer really !!!!.

Also I have the added bonus of moving from all the negativity around me to a brand new area with probably just as much negativity.  Ahhh the joys of sitting in the Trinity Upper.

Renewing for the social side of it is the correct answer.

Spot on

Spot on, you will need to be credit checked for the 10 month one.

There was a time when I couldn't imagine not going to see Villa. But almost without realising it things change. You might move away from the Midlands, have kids, and get a bit older and other things become just that little more important. And that's before you factor in the cost and Habib Beye et al taking the mick.

But I have still almost vommited with nerves during recent Saturday afternoons. You can be a supporter but it just isn't practical to always go.

And if more people stayed away would the "EPL" improve in the long run?

It's surprisingly easy to get out of it.

I moved abroad for three years in the late 90s, and when I came back, didn't bother going at all for several years. In fact, I pretty much lost interest in football full stop.

But ...

My pack has just come through the door £480 for lower holte adult, 4 months interest free, 10 months direct debit at 15.9% free access to AVTV, welcome pack I think they have tried really hard to keep us and encoiurage others to become ST holders.

Still nothing on the OS. What was the cost for your ST last year? Has it gone up a lot?

£405 North Stand, up 3.8%. That's as good as could be expected.
