Crikey.

I can't wait for this one to finish, I don't even want to think about next season.

I know what you mean. I'm quite looking forward to a few weeks of not thinking about football/Villa. However, you know that's going to be almost impossible GH does step down as manager. It's going to be madness around here for a bit yet. Before you know it, pre-season training will be starting.

Plus, the endless speculation on departures/arrivals.

They are not even considering it, season ticket prices are to be announced on Friday.

I haven't been to Pride Park so there's somewhere new to go.

First one confirmed.

Derby County away. Wed 3rd August. 19:45 k.o

Shame it's a midweek, would've quite fancied that otherwise.

A guy at the running club I go to is a groundsman at Bescot. Inevitably we have one against Walsall but can't remember when it is.

"The pre-season programme will also take Villa to Hong Kong for the Barclays Asia Trophy to compete against Chelsea, Blackburn Rovers and the 2010-11 champions of the Hong Kong First Division League.

The four team knock-out tournament will take place over two match days on Wednesday July 27 and Saturday July 30, with a final to determine the winner and a play-off to decide third place.

All matches will take place in the Hong Kong Stadium."
