The champagne was nice.

Another one corrupted. Is there anything left in our society?

Come on, that's grossly unfair. I was corrupted a long time ago.

The walls of my pure and innocent world are falling in around me.

What next? Tennis with Doug?

The canapes were nice as well.

Meh. Claret and blue, looks decent. Might buy it but probably won't.

Based on this thread feedback we are likely to sell a record number of pairs of socks this year

I'm a retro bloke myself, but have to say black socks are the business.

They are retro !

I meant in terms of tops. I don't really buy the new stuff. Much rather have an 82 or a 57 than a 2011 if you know what I mean. Yes, sorry, you're right the socks are very retro, and look damn good

We played a few away games early 90's with black shorts and black socks along with the regular home shirt, that looked quality IIRC. Far better than some of the more recent mix and match away efforts, like that weird looking all claret number.

I'd prefer blue socks on the home kit, but in the grand scheme of things it's not worth demanding the removal of the board over.

Still not sold on the shirt at all but, like most others, I have to admire the decision to go with the black socks. Far better idea than white.

Home shirt looks much better being worn than the promotional images.
Away shirt looks much better on the promotional images than being worn (the grey checks look pretty crap).

Good turnout at Star City last night.

I also prefer the blue socks, but at least the black will look better with the away claret shorts than the gash claret socks did last season.
