Stripey Filth v Aston Villa - Pre-Match Thread
« on: April 25, 2011, 06:41:31 PM »
Reading the Albion forums you'd think that they've only got to turn up to beat us. Every bit as good as us, if not better, apparently.

I don’t see it somehow.

Young, Downing, Bent and Gabby to prove much too strong as we beat them yet again.

Quote from: Legion
Villa to win 2-0.

Bent 31 & 67

We won't, sadly.

Bent will score but they will win say 2-1. It will be a close game though.

I think their defence is worse than ours and they have Carson in goal, that has to be worth a 2 - 0 start.

Tough game, would be happy with a draw.

They haven't beaten us since the last century - that sounds good - let's keep it that way!

It's only Monday. The game is not until Saturday. No poll. No predicted result. Not stickied. Karma has been broken. Bad English is now crying over his New York Strip Steak.

I think they'll win. It's been quite a while and they will rarely have a better chance. 2-1 or 3-2.

This one will go with tradition.  Villa to win 3-1 and everyone's happy. Us because we've won and them because they can continue whinging and feeling hard done by.  Boing boing my arse.

They thought that last time didn't they?  Wankers.

We will trash these erm ..

I really think we will win this by a big margin. Dunno why. I think we play too wide for them. I reckon they will be happy with a draw. We will score first for once and take them as they come out to play. Another Stoke without the Delap factor. Depends much on our state of mind- and theirs. If we are complacent thinking ourselves safe and they are either fighting or in panic it could be a thrashing or a scoreless draw.

I go for  a thrashing.
