Okay, as far as I understand it he signed a 6-month temporary contract with Stoke, leaving Villa.

People on here don't seem to care because they think he's shit; but that's not the problem at all. The problem is that the club has (potentially, if true) lied to us completely, arguably because they knew he was a fans favourite.

It'll all come out today if he plays.

Yes, there would have been an absolute furore if it had been made public that a player who couldn't get in the team had been released and joined Stoke until the end of the season rather than joined Stoke on loan until the end of the season prior to being released.

I know it's not a big deal it's just slightly concerning.
