Bent is a fucking legend and a totally ace signing.

We could be ninth at close of play today and god knows where we would be without Bent.

at this rate, he is threatening to go down as one of our best ever signings, irrespective of the price. How many players have ever made such an instant impact in a Villa shirt? I really can't think of many - maybe Dion. He should have 10 already. He will crush 20 next season, and that will really help propel us up the table as long as we can get the defence sorted.

He chose Sunderland over them a couple of years ago, and they are still bitter by the sounds of it.  Best way of answering.  Here's hoping for his first hat-trick.
