Not keen personally, unless Scottish clubs subsidise the travel costs for English fans.  It's not our fault their league's shite.

Didn't they have something like this before. Possibly called the Texaco Cup?

I know we beat Rangers in the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup in the 1890s.

Please God no.

Scottish clubs are financially in the shit, let them sort their own mess out and keep the fuck away from us.

Yay. An opportunity for Rangers and Celtic fans to travel South and fill our grounds with sectarian bollocks.

Not entirely, but the Premier League has to take a big share of the blame.

Why? because it's more popular than the Scottish league? A country of 5 million or so should be more realistic as to what it should achieve and they as punching at their weight as it is. Previously they overachieved massively.

If their own product (hate that word) was of a better quality and more competitive, then more Scots might support their own teams than follow teams south of the border.

If anything, the Champions League and Sky are more to blame than the Premier League, as they've increased the revenues of the Old Firm clubs over the last 20 years and allowed them to pull away from the likes of Dundee United, Aberdeen and Hearts.

Less than 12,000 fans at the semi final on Saturday between Motherwell and St Johnstone at the national stadium tells you exactly where Scottish football is heading.

More like an opportunity for those 2 to increase their revenue streams (God when did this term enter into football!!!)  and as always its not for the good of the Scottish leagues but only of financial benefit for the top 2 - quite ironic really as it is their looking after themselves over last 20 years that caused this mess in the first place

Didn't the Scottish FA say they wanted nothing to do with the Great Britain Olympic team?

Fuck 'em!

Sounds like a truly shocking idea and this has only been suggested because the Scottish FA is rapidly realising that their tinpot league is being left in the 20th century and they are anxious to modernise it and deflect the justified attention being given to the sectarian behaviour of their two teams.
Over the last few years our League Cup has had somewhat of a renaissance as the big teams have realised that they can salvage a season with a bit of silverware, so therefore I don’t see any benefit whatsoever to the Scottish teams entering.
