Perhaps he has, but the house he owns in B'ham is up for sale.

if he goes this really is a bad trend for the club.........
A rumour I heard yesturday, gabby broke down in his car and told the recovery man he is defiantly staying, but Ash is waiting for Arsenel or Spurs.I can't believe that myself, why go spurs unless they sell one of there top players, which then defeats the object of goin there.

I'd hold no grudges if he left this summer or next but I'd prefer he went earlier, as I'm sure most others would be. I'd be amazed if we got anywhere near the amounts that have been banded around in this thread so far, though. I'd say Liverpool for 12M would be a realistic bet but a swap deal with Spurs involving cash plus Walker would be my ideal choice.

Is that a roundabout implication that we're a selling club? The last time we had an open transfer window, we quite desperately needed a striker who could be relied on to deliver goals. Our owner then went out and bought the most expensive player in our history, a proven goalscorer, for 18 million, rising to 24 million pounds.Still, keep on with the sniping if it makes you happy.
