For those who went/watched - did Marc Albrighton play centrally up front?If he did, maybe this is GH's way of him learning to be a striker as opposed to a winger - then next season could see him and Downing flanking Bent as our front three when Ashley departs for pastures new.Marc needs to be more of a danger in front of goal, to be a bit more clinical with his finishing before he is an all round front man and playing up there in the stiffs will allow him to learn this (hopefully)

Gardner played up front and scored a cracking header. Hate to say it but he should be in before Gabby every week ....

It's been a good few years since I last went to a reserve match at Villa Park but I was surprised as to how few people were there. Was there only that one block of seats in the Trinity Middle open for the game?
is it still free to watch the stiffs ?
