For Everton i'd go

Friedel

Walker
Collins
Cuellar
L.Young

Reo Coker (right midfield, not right out on the wing)
Makoun
Petrov
Downing

Bent
Heskey

Shhhhhh.....Here comes Lawro.

Everton v Aston Villa

There has been a lot of rubbish written about a player revolt under manager Gerard Houllier at Villa Park but I would not take too much notice of that. I would suggest that the players revolting are the ones who do not want to stay at the club anyway, regardless of who the manager is.

Villa's league position is a little precarious but Houllier has got enough match-winners in his squad for them to get out of trouble.

The problem for his Everton counterpart David Moyes is that some of his better players, like Louis Saha and Marouane Fellaini, are out for the season. This will be a big examination for the Toffees but they are at home, and they are tough to beat too.

Prediction: 1-1

Heskey up front with Bent is a good option. Bent needs someone up front with him to hold the ball up. He was very effective last
season with Kenwyne Jones.

The Leon Best injury is good news.

Six goals in nine games.

Always thought he was good at Coventry.

Unless Houllier has had a personality transplant he will not do this. Stubborn prick

Please no.

Heskey is not a man for a relegation dogfight.

Bent will score as long as Ash and Downing are on song.

Petrov coming in would be beneficial though.

I've not been to Goodison before, does anyone know where do the Villa fans tend to congregate pre-match?

There's always a few in The Arkles right next to Anfield

There's no way that Moyles is going to let us win this, or even draw. 3-0 is my guess.

I'd like to think we'll have say in the matter rather than just go with Moyes' wishes.

Last time I went to Goodison Park I,d just returned from Angola and was ( unknowingly ) in the early stages of Cereberal Malaria , the following day I was in a Coma and about to shuffle off to that Big Villa Park in the Sky . Forunately I survived and I remember thinking as I lay in my hospital bed that Goodison might well have been the last Football ground I ever saw , an apalling thought to ' shuffle off '  with .  What kept my spirits up though was the re-runs in my brain of fabulous Paul Mersons fabulous  last minute half-volley from 35 yds out that won us the game 0-1 .  I think I,ve got a headache coming on , could be an omen ?!........................................Godzvilla!

Is Chris Moyles playing?

That was one of THE worst games of football I've ever seen.
