Ask not what your club can do for you...

Ask Nicola Keye instead.

Bring a scarf?
Why, is the cold snap returning?

If just one of our £20-£40k a week players is inspired to play better by me being wrapped up warm then we're doomed. I would hope that for that money every one of them would come come out and give it f***ing everything whatever I decide to wear.

I already give them all the help I can by parking in my lucky spot every week and wearing my lucky pants.

Gerard's scarf doesn't seem to do the trick does it? But then that's just product placement from the marketing department who noticed Man City had sold more scarves since Mancini started modelling them.

And on the subject of scarves - if I ever see anyone in one of those poxy "friendship" scarves you see nowadays with the name of both teams on, I will hang them with the f***ing thing.

Friendship scarves, my arse!

Several clappy emoticons for DeKuip. If the players' performance changes because of scarf waving, its a traveshamockery

Not so much the scarf or flag waving, but the generation of a positive atmosphere. Far better than those idiots planning on a protest.

I've spread it around the 5 of us shall be taking scarfs in the Lower Holte. Be great if we could get that massive flag, too.

I admire the sentiment but these pre-meditated atmosphere generation exercises always seem to backfire.  The Blues game in 2003 was hyped up to the point of hysteria and look where that  got us.   I aslo seem to recall some European game with free flags given out that went a bit pear shaped if I recall correctly.
