What makes me laugh is in the media, for some reason no one seems to want the Bears to win. I hope we do it.

Is that the same media that also hates the Villa. Or is it just us?

I think it's more their egos, almost to a man every pundit predicted Warwickshire to go down this season.

Its been pretty sunny here in Bournemouth all week, so the weather shouldnt be a problem.
I was there on Monday, just a pity i have too much on tomorrow as it would be great to be there to see us clinch it.

We played Lancashire about a month ago and SSN were saying "will Lancashire be able to close the gap on Durham?". I thought 'what about us, we're up there as well'. Cheeky feckers.

Allott, who played for Lancs, is the worst followed by Willis. You'd never have thought that R G D Willis ever wore the Bear and Ragged Staff on his jumper, he's a total knob. At least Nick Knight is still a bit one-eyed!

We never got any credit under Woolmer in the mid-1990's when we were a wonderful side, the cricket media only care if a home-counties side are doing well. Usual home-counties bias.

C'mon you Bears!

Let's win it and make those Lancs boys suffer again, oh and make all those cricket journos look like knobs for getting it wrong!

Don't agree with the media not wanting us. If you have been watching sky you will be hearing Nick Knight very eager for a bears win. I know he is a former player but in his job i am sure he should be coming across as a neutral.
Was pleased with the last hour yesterday, fingers crossed for a start like that this morning.

No breakthrough so far this morning.

It's getting a tad worrying, as these two are well set now.

Granted i only ever read the cricket reports in the Guardian or Observer but have never noticed any media bias, cricket reporting is generally excellent. Don't have Sky so haven't a clue what their view is but as Nick Knight is one of their commentators i'm guessing he is slightly biased and 5 Live has Dougie Brown commentating and willing them on.

Wakes makes the breakthrough, Carberry gone.

210 for 4, 41 ahead.

Trego doing us a favour at Somerset too, still plenty to play for.

Without a doubt. Barring a choke filled run chase from them, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility

Lancs need 211 off approximately 32 overs.
