Done. An innings victory.  Now just need rain/Hants batting out the draw in Liverpool.

How long left in the Lancs game?

Final day, Hants just need to bat for 2 and a bit sessions.

well done the bears Lancs have set Hants 361 in 67 overs. Maybe a few too many to chase. hopefully a bit of rain to lose a dozen or so overs. Hants also have an eye on worcesters game, who look like losing. They may take the view that a draw against lancs will close the gaps on the pairs by about 6 points.

Meanwhile elsewhere in Liverpool, Hampshire are collapsing.  Unless it starts pissing down, Lancashire are going to win.

Balls.........Lancashire (well Simon Kerrigan) beat Hants, I reckon they too the last Hants wicket in the last over of the day,
Kerrigan finished with 9 for 51 off 37 overs
Must be in contention for a trip to India/UAE as England's 2nd spinner this winter

Anyone else be happy if next week England was swept with autumnal storms and torrential downpours meaning that no cricket at all was possible anywhere?

Absolutely. We may be a bit lucky with the fixtures in that we are playing in more or less the same part of the country as Lancashire. If we get shafted by the rain, so should they.

Dunno, is he any good? I'd happily take a punt on Steve Harmison still.

Not for me to be honest.  Not as good as Barker in the all rounder category.

Bears game on sky Monday to Thursday btw.
