Bears 224 -4 at tea on second day. Slow going, Westwood done ok again as did Porterfield. Afraid Troughton failed again,being captain is only thing keeping in the team on present form.

Solid is the word and it's good to see Westwood playing with some confidence,  just a shame he didn't make it to three figures. Arundel a lovely place to watch cricket too, and they do great cake and ale too... Pitch is doing little but Bears have more aggression

Rankin has really blossomed this season. If his form continues and he stays clear of injuries I can see a winter with the 3 Lions and Crown.

Ireland have produced an excellent generation of players and England are benefiting.

Imo Ireland should be pushing the ICC for test status. Their one day form since 2007 has been fantastic considering their size, but without test status they'll lose their best players to England, surely they'd be able to beat the likes of Bangladesh in the test arena?
