Only played for about 5 minutes yesterday and lost 4 wickets (including the 1st innings). Need a bloody monsoon to have any chance today.

Worcestershire have released Adrian Shankar less than a month after he signed a 2 year contract. It seems his CV was not all that it seemed:

Incredible, really.

At least Bears have shown a bit of fight today. Barker made 100, but with only two wickets left and not much chance of rain... we're still buggered.

Just checked the rules and you can only play an extra half an hour on the first three days... so we just need to survive till 6.

Bollocks! Nine down. Come on rain/darkness/snow.... anything!

Just turned on the BBC commentary in time to hear that we'd lost.

If only our top order had a pair of testacles between them we'd have been ok (Chopra excepted).

Yeah good effort by the lower order and tail.

Unfortunately without Bell and Trott, the top order looks a bit weak (now that Chopras early season form seems to have gone).  Woakes also a big loss bowling and batting.

Those 4 early wins could prove crucial come the end of the season.

They've reported him to the police now apparently.

The Pears don't give their supporters much to cheer about, but today we achieved a splendid win against Notts, our first in division 1 for 7 years.  OK, it's not as good as beating Arsenal at the Emirates, but it's still quite satisfying.
