I listen to the Bears through the BBC website, whilst pretending to do some work.

Our appeal against the points deduction for a poor quality pitch against the Pears has been rejected.

A home four-day game against Durham starts today. Let's hope that the pitch is more reliable. The recent rain should help Mr Rouse in his pitch preparation.

I can't do the proposed H&V T20 day out on 6th June as I have been told I want to go to Nottingham!

Have got tickets for the game against Wusster on Friday 17th June though if anyone fancies it?

The 20/20 game is on the 5th June. I take it that doesn't change anything though?

It's what I meant, and no, I still want (apparently) to be in Nottingham!

Back to today's game. If we can skittle them out for 700 then we've got a chance  ::)

Am I right in thinking that in this 1 match we've dropped more bowling points than in all of last season? At least we shouldn't get docked points for a dangerous pitch.

Really struggling today, Durham seem to have the evil eye over us in the 4 day game. Still think we are a lot better than Worcs and Hants though so cant see us slipping right down the table.

They don't have the 'evil eye' on us. They are just better than us.

Utterly pathetic performance today. Need to show some backbone and, more importantly, good rain-dancing skills in the next two days.

A rain ruined day still saw the Bears stumble towards inevitable defeat. 186 all out and 35-3 at stumps, following on.
