Pat Murphy doesn't like the fact that Randy doesn't invite him round for tea and scones once a week.

His interview with Houllier though was excellent last Thursday, in which Houllier tied himself in knots trying to pretend that the team bonding exercise went well.

Things are rotten at the club at present and Murphy is just reporting that.

Paul Faulkner backs GH
So thats it then
Not his call though is it. There's still hope.
Well unlikely that Faulkner has made that statement without knowing Randys thoughts. If they do anything it will be too late, i think the Newcastle game will be the deciding moment.

Pat Murphy is another Oliver Holt. Never liked us but he is quite right about "him".

I think Pat Murphy is pretty even-handed when it comes to talking about all of the Midlands clubs.

Over the years I've heard him say very complimentary things about us and also called the club to account when necessary.

What is beyond dispute is that he is very well-informed. If he understands that Houllier's job is on the line, then it is so.

Left back should be Luke Young if he's fit. I think if we can keep any 2 of Clarke, Collins and Cuellar available until the end of the season (I am assuming Dunne has burnt his bridges) then we will give ourselves a decent chance of staying up.

Stop dicking around, Randy, pull the trigger.

I wish he would Paulie, because you know what, if he dose'nt, i have a horrible feeling that we could be in for one of those 5-0 relegation type drubbings up at Everton. They're more or less safe now, they'll be playing with confidence. The last thing this team needs is a thrashing. I might be wrong though and i hope to god i am.

I was thinking this yesterday as well.  I can really see us getting a thumping up there.  In a way a thumping could be better than a 1 or 2 nil defeat, as I can't see how GH could survive that.  KevMac in charge against N'Castle at home and the support would be immense.

Cant argue with any of that Chris makes sense to me but its got to make sense to our manager too

I think if we fail to win one of the next two games, Randy and his ginger chum will be forced to take action.  In my opinion, we should have sacked Houllier after Sunderland - it's too late now and we are on our way down.

I assumed Dunney was close to returning given he hasn't pulled out of the ROI squad.

The same kev mac who was in charge when we lost 6-0 at Newcastle you mean?

The everton game was identical to the Man city home game, scored early and then hung on grimly for the rest of the game.
