Blackpool now have four consecutive home games - Arsenal, Wigan, Newcastle and Stoke.

They can win the Wigan and Stoke games and they're capable of a point against Newcastle and Arsenal.

They have the worst home record in the division. Every other team will fancy themselves up there.

Had Blackpool and Wigan a while back, but also had the Olbiyun.

Not so sure about that last place now, just hope/pray it isn't us.

They've won 2 less games at home than we have.

But they've lost 7. My point is that playing at home isn't any advantage to them, in fact they've picked up more points away.

Also Blackpool don't have a strong squad and at this stage tiredness may begin to tell- a draw in their game with Wigan would be best for us- I wonder if at the end holloways  decision to play his reserves against us sends them down and keeps us up- how ironic that would be!

It wouldn't be in the least bit ironic.

Blackpool, Wigan and........? I had Birmingham, but not too sure now.
At times in the season I thought West Ham were dead certs, or Brom, Wolves then Blackburn. I never thought us to be honest. I'm old enough to remember the last time we were relegated and we are far better than that with far more quality.
At times we are a bloody shambles I know but I really think we'll scrape through.

So dave, he makes 10 changes at villa and they lose and villa stay up by a point ahead of Blackpool, you don't see the irony of it? Then again you wouldn't would you.

The Blues will be safe, a mixture of their fighting qualities and their ability to stop teams playing will see them through.
