I`d say Bozzie if it wasnt for the way he dumped on us to go to Man U, so i`ll have to say Jimmy Rimmer, definitely Arsenals loss and our gain, pity he didnt stay on the pitch in Rotterdam, he deserved it so much, a total star.

Bosnich. He could make saves that most keepers couldnt dream of. I was at a game in the mid 90s at West Ham,and he slipped kicking a back pass, was on his arse, but still reached out an arm and saved a shot from Lee Chapman. I was in the West Ham end at the time, and even they applauded it.

Shame how his careerened,as he had the tools to be the very best, even better than Schmeichal.

Rimmer was a great keeper but for a while in the nineties I genuinely believe Bosnich was on his way to being the best in the world. When his problems came to light around 2002 I remembered a conversation I had in Tenerife in the mid nineties. I was wearing my Villa shirt and this guy who reckoned he'd owned clubs in Manchester for years told me our keeper had a little problem and had done since he was a youngster at United.
