Which Keeper

There are a lot of good shot stoppers in the premiership but not many that can command their area and can handle crosses around the six yard box. Out of Villa past. if possible who would you like in between thr sticks now? I will start off with Nigel Sims.

At his peak - Schmichael
Over what they did during their career - Bosnich, Spink or James.

Bozzie at his best. Spink was terrible on crosses.

I can only really remember the tail end of Spinksy's career with us. Bozzie was outstanding, although his weakness was his kicking.
Out of the three I've picked above I think I'd go with James though.

Jimmy Rimmer. Best all-round keeper we've had in my life, though he didn't have to face kicking the damn thing off the floor. Bosnich was a wonderful keeper but his kicking terrified me.

Bosnich was great till ball went to feet, he was unlucky in so much as the back pass rule came into play during his tenure, but he was a superb shot stopper. Would have to vote Jimmy Rimmer overall though.

I think it would be a toss between James and Bosnich for me. James was more prone to an error but was very good for his defenders.
