Arsey, there was never any mention of spurs selling walker- he's here for premier experience , no mention of a sale , redknapp made that clear at the time , if we did want him
we would need to make a very big offer to even tempt them.

Very attacking. Houllier keeps us guessing, but atleast he's doing what he wants.

He will not play the old 442 arsey- this is the future!

*Applauds sentiment*

Arsey, he's said a lot of things re Bannan which are out there to look up. The nub of it seems to be that he thinks Bannan has been hopelessly mis-handled by MON and needs training rather than games, like all young players. Bannan has said he's willing to wait. But yes, it does get frustrating.

With the attacking players on display bent must be rubbing his hands with glee- let's hope he fills his boots!

At least Young is back on the wing and Gabby is not on the wing - so that for me is a positive! Good to see Albrighton back as well.
Pires is not the future or present for me but that is the only question mark over the team for me?

I imagine Downing will be playing much deeper.

Friedel
Walker - Dunne - Clark - Baker
Pires - NRC - Downing
Albrighton - Bent - Ash

Is what I'm expecting, with Ash coming inside...

Weather doesn't look too bad out. Will Young be wearing a snood?

It does seem strange that wee Bannan isn't get much of a look in. The last time I slated Pires for being in the team,he scored and we won,so fingers crossed,Up the villa.
