The ball hitting Brett Lee in the eye as he tries (and fails) to prevent a boundary isn't funny at all is it?
Of the current Ozzie squad, he's possibly the least deserving of a ball in the face. Certainly Smith, Johnson, Clarke, Ponting ahead of him.

Rashid replaces Yardy in squad, bit of a bonus!

Actually just realised why, so hope he recovers soon.

Indeed.
Not my favourite player but I wouldn't wish depression on anyone.
Agreed. I hope he recovers fully & quickly. I also hope that he can return to the England side - as long as he can contribute something.

Yes, but he's still an Aussie.

We've got an outsourced research team based in Delhi who I have daily calls with.

I couldn't get hold of them yesterday and they emailed me this morning, apologising because they all ran out of the office to watch the last few overs in a shop window.

What a lucky wicket for New Zealand there.

Amla hits ball onto boot of the 'keeper which bounces up to first slip!

Did anyone see Boycott's comments about this? He was doing the old bluff Yorkshireman routine and dismissing Yardy as not good enough (which may well be true) but was basically saying it'd never happen to him as he was always good enough to do his job. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Boycott have a "moment of madness" on a tour to India where he went AWOL and then said he'd gone for a walk in some interview which made him sound like a tit?

South Africa doing their utmost to lose this. Which is good. Great chance for us if we can get past Sri lanka tomorrow.

Class. What a great win for The Black Caps.
Will be great if England beat Sri Lanka and play NZ in the semi final.

Sir Geoff of Boycott walked off and was found playing golf after throwing his toys out of the pram.

Muralitharan is going to go for some tap today. I've got a good feeling. We'll probably still lose though!

The result may depend on how well we play their spinners, we need to keep knocking the singles and use our feet
