The good thing about this World Cup is that out of all the Q/F's its hard to call any of the games.

Sri Lanka will be favourites against England, but it depends which England turn up.
Same with South Africa and New Zealand. NZ are like England in that you never know what team will turn up.
West Indies v Pakistan is so hard to call. Both teams go from being brilliant to downright awful (especially Pakistan).
India v Australia is also hard to call. Hope India win, but you can never trust Australia and they are at their most dangerous when they have just lost.

I'm looking forward to all of the games.

I'm going:

England to beat Sri Lanka in a last over nailbiter.
SA to stuff NZ.
Pakistan to edge West Indies
India to beat Australia to keep the home fans happy until we beat them in the final.

But yes, they all could go either way, there isn't a stand-out team in this World Cup.

West Indies 19-3     blimey...

I turned over after 13 overs when they were still 22-3 - Chandapaul had scored 1 run off about 18 balls, Sarwan 4 off about 25.

55-3 off 22 overs......really wanted the WIndies to beat those cheating Pakistani's.

Don't worry, Pakistan will chuck it in the final.

Well I'm hoping England win it all but not confident. I said at the start I would settle for victory for Anyone But Australia, and I'm sticking with it.

COME ON INDIA!

Breaking news on BBC Sport, Michael Yardy is coming home from the world cup as he's suffering from depression. Hope he's OK.

Por sod, being away on tour and getting slagged for his performances is probably not the best environment for dealing with it.

He may be a whinging moaning rat faced ******, but that was a fantastic century from Ponting. Although was lucky that India had no reviews left when he was on about 90, because he was plumb LBW.

I hope that India win mainly because of the mouthwatering prospect of an India - Pakistan semi final. That and the fact that I can't support the Crims, ever.
