I'll say well played Tredwell, a much much better bowler than Yardy.

Also Strauss has hopefully realised that Bopara is worth a bowl.

Can we not just either win or lose by a hefty margin? These tight games are killing me!

Wow. i had to pick up my son from nursery and as I was pulling in I heard a review that was turned down (not the 6 but a run out I think). I turned off as they only needed 20 odd at that stage with 4 wickets left. On the way home I flicked through the stations and as I went passed Radio 4 Jonathon Agnew was reading the bowling figures which he sounded downcast with in the nano-second he had to keep me beleiving we could win.

After that I avoided any news- all day- and didn't watch the highlights as I was so bloody peed off with us messing up again.

And then this morning whilst at work I logged on to the Beeb website!!!! Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

I bet we still get knocked out now.

Bangladesh are 31/4 off 12 overs chasing 285 against South Africa. So we're as good as through.

Bloody hell thank god South Africa did the business, because if we were relying on India we'd probably be gone.

Sri Lanka in Colombo it is. Very tough, but with our side you never know.

We are the only side not to have lost to any of the other qualifiers.

Indeed. Quite bizarre to go through when you lost to Ireland and Bangladesh but remian unbeaten against India, South Africa, and the West Indies.
