Well that's the end of that then.

It's certainly took some of the gloss off the Ashes win.

The ECB need a kicking for organising those 7 one day games against the Aussies, when 3 would have sufficed.

I agree about the ECB, but I refuse to believe that it's diminished the Ashes victory.

To go there and absolutely annihalate them is, and will always be VERY special.

I agree. It is 2 very different forms of the game. We have a very strong test side but don't quite have the right balance for one dayers.

FFS. 6 down now. Bopara comes with his usual rubbish. To be fair as they all have.

This is taking the piss a bit now.

Strauss/Prior/Trott came out and attacked the bowlers, and we were going well. But the rest of the batsmen have come out and defended. This isn't Test cricket where you protect your wicket and only play the bad balls - we need runs on the board for our bowlers to defend. Attack these Windies bowlers and we'll put on a good score because they can be got at. It's a win or bust game - so go out fighting you fucking wankers.

Top 4 all got decent starts but we needed one of them to carry it on but every time we looked set they've blown it. Do well to make 200 now.

Just bat until over 45 - look to be going around 3/4 an over and then take the last batting power play for the last 5 overs. That's if we've still got 4 wickets in hand.

What do we reckon as an absolute minimum? 235?240? 50?

They're talking about the perils of the wet ball on TMS. "It will annoy Graeme Swann, he doesn't like dew. That's not to say he's anti-semitic".

Another wicket down, Wright. 216-8. 7 overs left.

A decent recovery to be fair, I thought we dead and buried when 6th wicket went down. Not confident but at least we've given ourselves something to defend.

Dissapointing end but at least we've made it competitive.
