I still think Collingwood as a bowler is laughable!

He hasn't actually bowled that badly though. Yardy is a different matter however...

Yardy is fucking shit.

Shahzad is suffering from Delhi Belly, so may have no choice but to go with Jimmy tomorrow. My choice would be -

Strauss
Prior
Trott
Bell
Morgan
Bopara
Collingwood
Swann
Bresnan
Tremlett
Tredwell
Shahzad/Anderson

I'd also open the bowling with Swann - Gayle struggles against spin.

Completely agree.  Especially if the pitch is anything like what is was against SA.

Shazad out for the rest of the tournament (which could end today anyway) with a hamstring problem. Jimmy is a shoo-in now!

Clearly I know nothing about cricket!

Tremlett in for Jimmy

Luke Wright in for Colly

Won the toss and batting.

Come on England!!

A gamble from England, we really need to bat well because I don't have a lot of faith in that attack.

I agree. We've got to find 10 overs from part time bowlers. Potentially against Kieron Pollard which does not bode well.

Good solid start, Strauss look like he's in the mood. 40 from 8.

Prior gone for 21.  Bowled, looks like a slight inside edge.

48-1

There seems to be a policy of having a little bit more intent in this batting performance. needs to be because as has been mentioned anything can happen with our attack.

There certainly seems some intent from the batsmen.

And as I say that Strauss top edges one. Bollocks.
