Anderson's bowling figures next to the others are an embarrassment. He has to shape up, we can't carry our senior bowler.

If the ball doesn't swing he is average.

We won the T20 because we were ruthless in team selection, we haven't been in the one day side.

We should not have Strauss and Trott in the top order.

That's a bit harsh on Trott, he's been churning out the runs in ODI's.

Is that the Trott who averages about 60 in one day cricket?  The Trott who just got 2 ODI centurys against Australia?

Trott got 130 odd in about 110 balls very recently against Australia.

Again on the positive side  India were bowled out a ball to spare!
If England do  knock this total over it will shatter Indian confidence for the rest of WC. So a lot to play  for on this  carpet laid on top of a marble floor pitch!

and I really should not have too many beans  with my breakfast.

Trott and Bell are both capable of hitting out when they get their eye in. If it's left to Collingwood with more than 100 left to win though, we're fucked.

The commentator just said:

"If there's one weakness in this India team it's the bowling...and the fielding."

Erm, so that means they are only good at batting then?

Yes that Trott who needs to up his run rate/strike rate, he puts to much pressure on the other batsman because he is so slow.

And if you read my post I said we shouldn't have Strauss AND Trott in the top order.

Sachin has just played a blinder he was down at about 50% SR yet finished at over 100 SR, our batsman rarely claw it back like that.

We need specialist one day players not test players trying to adapt.

Well 340 is a massive ask but it will be fun watching us try to knock them off. We need a serious KP knock to stand any chance mind.
