Well done in the end from the batsmen, but the fielding and bowling needs a massive massive improvement.

Here Here!

Just watched the highlights of our fielding display, oh dear.

Our fielding was impressively shite. Strauss didn't pull any punches in his interview mind.

West Indies vs South Africa shaping up well, SA 20-2 chasing 223 to win.

Problem is, England have a bound to be used get out card (excuse) for a poor world cup.

Ireland in with a great chance to beat Bangladesh here.  62 for 2 needing another 140 or so.

Now 45 runs required from 11 overs, 6 wickets down

Silly batting display from Ireland, why don't teams take the power play earlier. When O'Brien & Botha were going strong a power play could've took the game away from Bangladesh. As it was they lost wickets & ultimately the game.

Glad Bangladesh won. It means a lot more to the Bangladeshi public than to those in Ireland, and don't want to see them embarassed when they are co-hosts.

Hosts under pressure! Sri Lanka failed their first big test by losing to Pakistan.  Wander how India will fare against England?

Yes, it's a sub-continent tournament, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are hosting. No Pakistan for obvious reasons.

Close one tomorrow, I can't call it.
