Who's the gormless meat head on SSN in front of the giant T.V ? Im not sure if i hate him more,or the transfer deadline day.

It's Andy Burton and he's almost as bad as Jim White.

There was almost breaking news on Sky Sports earlier today when Jim White entered the TV stuido building. Oh dear!

I can't stand Jim White, he's a twat.

I haven't been this excited since we signed Oyvind Leonardson.

The place has that GT mark II aura about it again anyway.

We seem to be scratching around in the bargain basement at the moment, and face going into the season with a paper thin squad. Do the board think we are going to find better value from the market during the January transfer window? If we find ourselves in a relegation scrap again in four months time, then I would be really worried about our prospects.

I honestly think he's lost interest and has decided to "park" the club, minimal money spent, tick over in mid table and be done with it.

Hutton has chosen Fulham apparently and we are in talks with Danny Simpson now

Agreed and it's simply not good enough, if he's not interested he needs to begin looking for buyers. We are not some joke club.

All the reports coming out of the papers here say that Fulham have agreed terms with Brian Ruiz, certainly the best player here right now, so I think its probably not difficult to see which team is currently showing more ambition

Danny Simpson is fucking terrible, and if Fulham are a better choice than us it's a complete embarrassment.

Think that's just it. They will hold back any big bucks until January, and if we are in the bottom three, they will release emergency funds like last season.

By the way, does anyone know if the Jenas loan has a cancellation clause, so we can cancel at anytime? For example, like maybe tomorrow.

I suspect what is probably happening is that we are drastically reeling in the excesses of the last few years. It kind of like a footballing equivalent of what the Tories are doing.
I think we're going to have to wait a few years at least before there's much sign of us trying once more because we are not going down and we're not likely to win anything much either.

Please tell me this is a sick joke? How long until the Holte End is chanting for Randy out?

I've missed the action recently, so I come back from hols to find we've sold Luke Young and fucked off Makoun(amatata).
Is Jenas a done deal? That smacks of desperation. He's good on his day, and certainly would be better than an out of his depth Makoun. But he's not the sort of midfielder who's gonna either keep a foothold in the middle, which we need, or the creative player who'll make things happen further forward, which given McLeishs reluctance to use Ireland and Bannan, we also need.

Urgh!

Sad to think , Spurs get Parker ( what we need ) and then offload a poor Jenas to us ....

Said it earlier. If Faulkner can't tie up Alan Hutton before we let Luke Young go even to ensure we are sorted for a replacement, then he is not good enough to run the club. Randy has clearly lost interest, and we have zero leadership in the camp.
