The Jenas rumour might not happen just like the Joe Cole one.  Lets not panick yet until something offical is announced.  Although saying that, I still think he would be a useful addition on loan to help us maintain our position in the league this season.

Far better player than some we have been linked with although id prefer an option to buy in the summer rather than just get him back to his best to go back to spurs.
His best is not good enough.

I cannot understand why we haven't gone in for Scott Dann?  Also, the reliable sources at sky are saying that Stoke are in talks with Craig Bellemy!
Would anyone fancy Wilson Palacios (spelling????) at Villa?  Im sure he would do better than Stiliyan Sweatrov

Don't forget that we can always sign players without contracts after today...that leaves us with Alan Smith then.

palacios to stoke all agreed as far as i heard reported, and bellamy was at qpr in talks -lots of false rumours flying about.

Take what sky say with a pinch of salt!

I can't have that, for the level we're are at the moment his best is definitely good enough.

We are going to end up with one young Irish defender who won't join till January, good grief.

thats still a better situation than having another wheelbarrow full of dross dregded up from the reserve teams of the premiership, only for us to be looking to off load them come next August

by the final whistle tonight you might be wishing the irish fela was the only one we'd brought in,
by the looks of some players we are linked with , i'd rather stay as we are, they will only keep better young players out of the side

I understand that fans of lower division clubs have a favourite 'big' team (e.g. the noses fans are Brummie Reds in their spare time/or when Bloos are crap). Can anybosy see a time when supporters of mid to lower PL clubs also do the same? My youngest has tentitively already mentioned it.....

I'm going for Citeh anyway.

Assamoah Gyan has handed in a transfer request at Sunderland according to BBC.

I wonder if he's had his head turned by cheeky 'Arry?
