Hutton move up in the air due to price?

What, we have come to our senses, and Spurs have refused to pay us to take him off their hands?

How I would dearly love Randy to pull Scotty Parker out of the hat at some point today....

Signed for Spurs.

Purely for the reason that the last two players we stole from under the noses of other clubs at the last minute were Marlon Harewood and Habib Beye, I'm pleased we didn't nick Cole from Lille.

There is an amusing theme on this site over the past few days and weeks, with various posters falling over themselves to prove just how little they care these days about The Villa or football.

While posting on a fan site.

I'm guilty of caring less than I did, but that doesn't mean I'm not addicted to the club and football in general. Villa are unfortunately becoming collateral damage due to my feelings on the game, which I find repulsive and have done for several years now.

I love Villa, always will, but that doesn't mean I'll be blindly towed along by the money men and their gross exploitation of emotional attachment.

I used to go down on a regular basis, but the last time I saw Villa was in Portugal last summer. It's a shame, and I don't mean to come across as a twat here, because I understand why people do it, but the complete and utter adherence to rising ticket prices etc, and the lack of strikes when they started to take the piss (see the Germans for an example) is why we've long since lost our game, and why we're constantly mugged off. Also, if you browse other football forums, you'll find it's not just Villa's support who currently share this attitude.

Who is this player, Price?
I prefer him to Hutton anyday.

I've just had a 10% off e-mail from Villa - would that apply to Beye?

Jenas is such a lazy signing. With a bit of scouting surely we could find someone decent in the Championship?

The Jenas rumour might not happen just like the Joe Cole one.  Lets not panick yet until something offical is announced.  Although saying that, I still think he would be a useful addition on loan to help us maintain our position in the league this season.

ITK: Carlton Palmer on a free.  We're going to sign him one day, may as well get it out of the way.

I'd take Palmer. Centre-back, centre-mid, strong. Just what we need.

Me too - Also he'll deliver your money back specials direct to your bath - tell me another premier league prima donna that would do that !!

Jenas has been linked with us every transfer window, fortunately we had managers with the wisdom to realise that he could not do anything to improve us, until now that is, this is how bad its got.
If we sign Jenas you can wipe a few more thousand of the attendancies.

Well as he's worth fuck all, I'll take him if they'll pay me £100k. I think he'd do a job in the Sutton & District Division 4, and he can drive me to all the games in his Ferrari.

Someone else will have to take the kit though.

Far better player than some we have been linked with although id prefer an option to buy in the summer rather than just get him back to his best to go back to spurs.

Evidentally we're in for  Nolberto Oscar Juan from Serie B side Padova.

Defensive midfielder who can also play right-back. He's of Paraguyan descent with an Italian passport, so work permit issues won't be a problem.

Will this ease our fears for the season?

hes actually 3 people sewn together , Solano , JPA and Oscar Wendt ..   looks a good player who can play in 3 positions and play the trumpet ...
