I believe "The Hud" is pretty popular with the spurs fans although I think Sandro is now their preferred partner for Modric because he's a bit more mobile.  But sitting along side the more energetic Delph it could work, especially if his height means Bannan can play more often. 

How about a Bid for Fellani?  Everton need the money and I vaguely remember moyes saying everyone has a price except Baines and Cahill (I think).  He was great when he arrived and was apparently a handy DM at S Liege.

Like BigAd, it makes sense to me that he stays there for their European campaign. After all it will be the only time he will be playing in Europe for the term of his Villa stay.

Just looked him up on Wikipedia - and he was born in 1990 , made me feel really old when we start buying players born in the 90's !!

I'll answer myself .. as i was wondering if it was excellent derby player davies but of course he spells it differently ( a fact lost on this journos tweet) and far too difficult to make up unlike the easy idea to link ex -villa , current rangers player steve davis
