People on Twitter reporting that Shamrock left back Edna Stevens is signing for 250k. At least there is competition for Warnock on the cheap.

According to Sky (website), Spurs now interested in Hargreaves and Blackburn have bid for Dann.

Hawkeye - Ok, I see you're trying to be clever here, unsuccessfully mind.

If you're thinking of selling your car, would you flog one of the wheels beforehand to make some money?

Once you've answered that question, you might see what I was getting at.

A bid for Dan, that sounds desperate.

Why would he want to come here when he is in European Competition and could be showing up Aaron Lennon for an overpaid shit player in a few weeks time?

Having looked him up on Wikipedia he is actually named Enda.

Only 21 so I guess he might be considered a promising youngster.

Interesting story. If he wants to play regular football, then Villa is a better option than Spurs. I hope he comes, and plys 40 games, and goes to the Euros next summer with England after the run he has had.

I have not heard the rumours about Randys car sale, which i guess is a bit different to selling a business, there are 4 wheels on a car?

If he's looking to sell the club, devaluing it by selling it's best assets seems a strange thing to do.

But potentially using the money to pay off other debts whilst looking for a buyer might not be.

Not that I'm truly thinking it will happen but this is almost a rerun of the last few years of Dougs reign. A manager popular with the majority of fans overspends on not great players. Chairman starts to withdraw money but then to appeal to fans splashes out club record on new striker before bringing in a manager for a year who has been out of the top division for too long and who the players rebel against. Then brings in another manager but starts an austerity drive to recover from overspend from first manager before eventually selling.

You've got to admire the mans determination to get back into the game.  It states offer on table from WBA so guess we'll see him back in prem, just a question of what other offers he gets but it's clear that playing is going to be more important to him than sitting on a bench.  Wasn't too keen at first when we were linked but starting to wonder whether he could indeed do a job for us.

This is just such a shambles. We're selling all our best players, and when oppotunities arrise to buy some good players we're passing up on those brilliant oppotunities? It'll be hilarious if Dann signs for Blackburn.

We've got to do some GOOD buisness from now until the transfer window closes. A new midfielder is an absolute priority after Makoun has left on loan.
