Always been impressed with Dempsey, but the £8 -£10m fee being mentioned seems steep to me.

Get more of your money back? Or to pay off other debts so the club looks attractive to dodgy Far East PM's or hairdressers or to dodgy Indian Chicken Farmers, non of which know much about football clubs or how to run them so won't realise lack of debts doesn't mean good players in the squad.
