looks like makoun has gone...

Yes he has, there's a picture of him on Olympiakos' website stretching the shirt.

I'll be sending my shirt back to the club then!

why? Isn't that risk you take when you buy club merchandise? I think calendars are the worst for this type of thing. I know it hasn't been long since he arrived, but it's always a possibility that a player doesn't settle and gets sold. Not the clubs fault really.

Something must be due to happen on incoming transfers. AM said last week that Young, Bannan and Makoun were going nowhere, and since then two of them have gone.

He never really got a good run in the side, i'd have liked to have seen him stay personally. At least we know now there'll be two coming in.

so a squad that mcleish admitted was a bit thin has now lost young, weiman, hogg and makoun in the space of 48 hours -lets hope we see 2 or 3 new faces.

Yes and I hope the third is going nowhere.

We're surely signing some players now, aren't we? Please say we are!

I'm sure there will be but if there's not, the crowd for the Newcastle game will be even less than Saturday.

Who's fault is it that we're getting rid of all of our players then?

I'm only joking, I'm annoyed but I appreciate players get sold.

Don't mind this as much if we get say, a Dann or Milner -initially on loan and then signed on permanent deals in the next tax year. As per the Davies deal a few years back.

But jobbing squad fillers or helping other clubs to blood their youngsters will be a bit shit really.  As will Hargreaves-style busted flushes.

I'd be happy for Beye to go, but at this rate we're not going to have enough players to make a squad.

Luke Young and Beye out within the space of a couple of days can only mean Hutton in.

Personally, I'd rather have kept Young given the chance, as he can also put in a shift at left back if need be.
