RIDGEWELL???

He's got better whilst at Blues but I still maintain he is one of the poorest players I've seen playing for us.

A remake of "The Spy Who Came in from the Cold" starring Liam Ridgwell as "George Smiley"

gabby plus cash for odemwingie?
Are you off your rocker!?

Not really too bad of a suggestion.  As much as I like Gabby, he hasn't kicked on anywhere near enough and actually regressed last season.

Odemwingie seems to be a better finisher and better technically than Gabby.

pavyluchencho may be loaned out by spurs apparently - mcleish was interested in him at blues and he would be a decent addition and is good at drifting out wide and cutting in , has a decent finish on him too.

DJ Campbell and Agent Ridgewell? I know its been relatively hot this weekend, but some of you must be suffering from severe sun stroke if you're thinking down these lines.

Is Campbell better than Gabby or Fonz? I'd like to think both would have scored more than Campbell in that kamikaze Blackpool side last season. If money is tight and we're fighting over 500k for N'Zogbia then why would we piss it up the wall on a player we dont need?

Sturridge would be fantastic in this team but highly unlikely to happen.

I hope AM is concentrating on our midfield and defensive problems as these are the areas that really need to be addressed and improved.

I still think we're lacking a bit of height in the team. Hutton would be a good shout, loan would be good as he's on a free next Summer.

I would gone for pavyluchencho and Hutton if we want to add more players as well as defensive midfielder and left back.

I think we're lacking someone in the middle to dictate play. Scott Parker is the obvious choice.

Wouldn't mind him but Spurs will want a fee for him i'd imagine rather than loaning him out and losing him for nothing.

A lot of the spurs fans detest Hutton although he always looked half decent to me. Basically we could get him dirt cheap if we want to take the risk.

Personally I'd prefer Young to play there and buy Clyne to replace him next season.
Clyne would be busting a gut to prove he's good enough whereas I think Hutton has slipped into a bit of a comfort zone - way too happy to be on the bench at spurs.

ideally we could do with another 3 or 4 in but i agree the main priority is another quality midfielder and parker is far and away the perfect option.

must admit im surprised warnock never took clyne to qpr with him , looks a very good prospect.

It's quite funny how Spurs are desperately trying to sell all their old tat but nobody is interested.

I think we'll get by fine with Luke and Lichaj at right-back for the new season.

I think Young is better than Hutton. I've heard Paul Hawksbee call Pavyluchenko the laziest player he's seen at Spurs,so no thanks to both, were not too bad in those areas.

But were crying out for someone like Parker,as we have no drive or leadership in the middle of the park.

If we have any cash left, I'd make Parker our priority. Hutton wouldn't be high on my list when we trying to live on a tight budget.
