According to Radio 5, Levy will not break £70k a week for anyone. The highest paid player at Spuds is Van der Faart. Levy won't break his wage structure.

Luckily for Spurs its the London attraction. Imagine what we would have to pay to get VDV to move to the Midlands

I was thinking about this the other day. When high-speed rail is finished and can get players from London to Birmingham in 40 minutes or so we might become a more attractive proposition as we could tell players they can live in London and commute for training if they like.

One paper yesterday said Reo-Coker off to Chelsea, I kid you not

If that does happen. we'll all have to tip our hats to NRC and his agent for being right all along about him joining a Champions League club

He'll be warming the bench if he goes there I'm afraid. The good news is it might mean Chelsea weren't after Parker gining us more chance of signing him.

How the fuck has Harry come up with this £30m over 3 years bullshit?

Let's say £7m transfer fee to West Ham and be generous and say £1m signing on fee to Parker (which would include agent fees).

That would mean paying Parker £141k a week!

I cant believe how naive you are! This is Harry involved in this transfer and therefore a initial  transfer facilitation fee followed by yearly contract renewal charges all to be paid to H. Redknapp will amount to about £15M over 3 years.

Put them up in a halfway house in Milton Keynes or somewhere equally as glamorous. Job done.

They could have one Lamborghini to take them to Marylebone then one Bentley for the arduous drive from Birmingham to Bodymoor.

well i got 16m for 3 years based on 50k a week, 8m transfer fee and 1m bonus, so i'm not sure where 'Arry's calculator is. To be fair he's on probably nearer 100k than 50.

'arry is about as bent as his calculator.

If we get the likes of Emile £65K a week Heskey of the wage bill along with a few other big earners like Young ad Downing a move for Parker even at £70-80K per week doesn't seem too bad as our wage bill will still have a nett reduction. Besides, if we get a top class, known quantity like him in midfield over two seasons it could probably mean we are such a better team that his wages will be covered by the additional prize money.

Kalinic (B'burn) available for £5m ... a good purchase if we're looking for a good striker.

Good shout, but he only scores against us doesn't he?

7 in 44 for Blackburn. He looks a tidy player but people on here only rate him because he scored twice against us. It might be that he is not quite good enough for the league.

That said he's ten years younger and a good deal cheaper than our current non-scoring striker so he could be worth a shot as a gamble in the hope that he comes good.

it would be easier to move the training ground to London
